FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you have questions then we have answers!

How big are the portions?

In true Punjabi style, the portions are a good size per serving. We recommend one serving per person. Depending on your appetite you may have some left over for a second seating

Where are the ingredients from?

As an ethical business we only cook seasonal dishes and so we only work with ingredients which are available locally. All ingredients are sourced using local suppliers.

How spicy are the dishes?

With the Supper Club we want to give you an authentic experience, so the spice of the dishes will be moderate to how we cook in a Punjabi household.

You can add yoghurt if you would like a milder flavour!

Do you cater for special diets?

As a small business we cannot yet tailor dishes to meet bespoke dietary needs. But please do let us know if you would like to see a particular variation on the menu and we will include it when we can.

Do you cater for allergies?

If you suffer from any allergies or intolerances then please look at the ingredients lists of the meals before making a booking with us.

If you are unsure of any ingredients then please contact us and we’ll be happy to explain!

Are the meals healthy?

We are very transparent about the ingredients in the dishes, so please look at the recipes before you order. Punjabi food is typically not low calorie, it is made rich to nourish your soul!

Is the meat halal?

Yes, all the meat that we use in dishes are sourced from an Oxfordshire based Halal Butcher.

Halal refers to the way in which the animal is slaughtered, this does not change the way the meat tastes.

Is the food prepared safely?

Yes! Aunty’s Oxford Kitchen is Food Hygiene Certified and registered with Cherwell District Council.  Cleanliness being next to Godliness, so we take the utmost precaution and care when preparing your food in our kitchen.

How do I pay?

Once we have received your order we will process it and email you a PayPal link to confirm the payment.

You do not need a PayPal account to complete the transaction. You can pay online using all major card providers.

What are the delivery & pick-up times?

Deliveries within a 5 mile radius of Kidlington, with a minimum spend of £12 are free and will be made between 5 – 7pm on the night.

On SupperClub night you can also pick up your order from us between 5pm – 7pm. If you need to arrange a different pick up or delivery time on the day then please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you to make arrangements.

Can I change my order after I have placed it?

We close orders 5 days before the SupperClub night. This is to ensure we have sufficient time to source the ingredients and make the food.

If you need to make a change to your order then please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you to find a solution.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations within 24 hours of booking will be refunded, thereafter we are unable to refund you but we would ensure your meal credit is rolled over to another SupperClub night so that you can still enjoy a meal.

As a small business we run a small operation with small margins so are unable to absorb refunds without this impacting the business.
